LESOTHO TOUR AND VOLUNTEERING PACKAGE

3 NIGHTS ALL INCLUSIVE DORM BED, MEALS, DAY TOUR AND VOLUNTEERING ACTIVITIES.

DAY 1 ; Full day Sani Pass Tour into Lesotho (click here for information on Community Tourism at Sani Top)

DAY 2 ; Start the day with “Tea with the Nxasanes” (click here for information on Tea with the Nxasanes), just a short walk from the Lodge to learn about Zulu culture, how life was under Apartheid compared to now ( an interpreter is provided from Sani Lodge) until you depart for your stint volunteering at the local Zulu Primary School (click here for Volunteering at Kwapitela school). (Tour package excludes additional cost of R60pp transport to and from school for those without own vehicles). Afternoon with options to choose from – self-guided walk into the Drakensberg Park, bread baking, fruit collecting – apples, plums, peaches, figs (seasonal), making jam, cow milking by hand. Spend a rewarding 30-60 minutes in the late afternoon as part of our “Funda Reading Club” – read a book to our staff children – eager young minds keen to learn and absorptive as sponges!

SANI THREE CULTURES TOUR AND VOLUNTEERING PACKAGE

DAY 2; Guided hike to see rock art paintings by Bushmen (click here for Community Tourism and the Khomani Bushman in the Kalahari)
