4 DAY TOUR
DAY 1
Sani Lodge via Matatiele to the crossing into Lesotho at Qachas Nek border post. Travel the beautiful road across the south of the country. The road follows the picturesque Senqu (Orange) river valley, then climbs high into the mountains before dropping down to our overnight stop at Mount Moorosi. Overnight at Moorosi Chalets.
DAY2
Spend the morning exploring the area which includes the historical battlefield of Mount Moorosi and the attractions near Quthing, the dinosaur footprints and the Masitise Cave House. Travel in the late afternoon 50km off the beaten track to our base for the next two nights, the remote community tourism venture at the village of Ha Liphapang.
DAY 3
Spend a full day in this beautiful remote region, with options to explore the villages, hike or horse ride and visit Bushman Painting sites. Experience something really special.
DAY 4
Return via the beautiful and little used pass through the mountains at Ongeluksnek. The route follows the Quthing river valley and climbs deep into the mountains, past villages where vehicles are seldom seen.
