RARE TREES FOR SALE FROM RUSSELL’S INDIGENOUS GARDEN NURSERY

Each year, Arbor week endeavours to help increase public awareness of just a few of the 2000 indigenous tree species in South Africa by celebrating two specific trees, one common and one rare species. This year Arbor week highlights the rare Parsley tree ( Heteromorpha trifoliata) and the common tree Forest Bushwillow ( Combretum kraussii) .Russell’s indigenous garden nursery based at the Giant’s Cup Cafe and Crafts on the Sani Pass road, sells three of the rare tree species celebrated over the past 15 years, namely; Tree fuchsia ( Halleria lucida), Cross berry ( Grewia occidentalis) and Parsley tree ( Heteromorpha trifoliata). His nursery also sells a wide variety of the more common trees .
