COTTAGE DESCRIPTION

A lovely three-bedroomed family cottage (named after the bird heard calling here) set in a spacious indigenous garden with a new private wood-fired hot tub and magnificent mountain views. The garden has a braai stand, outdoor seating and parking right next to the cottage. The main bedroom has a double bed with en-suite bathroom, the second bedroom has twin beds, and the third bedroom has a single bed with a desk. Feather duvets, bath and hot tub/swimming towels are provided. The fully equipped kitchenette has a stove, fridge, microwave, coffee maker, kettle, pots, crockery and cutlery. This cosy cottage is well suited to the Drakensberg winters with a wood-burning fireplace in the open plan lounge / kitchenette area. The cottage is serviced daily at no extra charge. Solar panels on the property ensure an uninterrupted power supply. All guest comforts are taken care of by providing tea, coffee pods for the coffee maker, Fair Trade filter coffee, books, games, magazines, wine glasses, wood for the indoor fireplace, hair dryer, spices, and toiletries. A jug of fresh farm milk from our hand-milked Jersey cows, is in the fridge to make you feel at home right away.
